2 months agoAuthentic storefront diner that serves the best Chilaquiles in Cicero. Try the skirtsteak and fried eggs version with some Café de Olla and Agua de Jamaica and walk out of there happy and full. Great service and great people frequent here. Check it out, you wont be disappointed.

3 months agoI went there with my best friend for breakfast. The food was alright, but in ALL my life I've never been denied a free refill on my regular coffee. The waitress told us that free refills were only for the Mexican style coffee. This place is very small, so they want you to eat your food and be gone, so that other people can come in. I think thats the real reason they wont refill your coffee, so that you dont stick arounda fter finishing your food. Not a very welcoming place. Hopefully they decide to move to a bigger place. I won't be going back anytime soon.

5 months agoI had the Verdes Chilaquiles .. beans ..with eggs over medium & coffee ..the food was great ..the coffee was mild ... its a small nice friendly traditional place ....OQ

7 months agoOrdered chilaquiles, and the food usually tastes really good. However today the chilaquiles were dry, the meat wasn't as tasty, and it was disappointing. The service was okay, but when placing an order through the phone it's very difficult.

7 months agoI ordered a half-diablo, half-green chilaquiles, while my husband opted for the morita ones. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The diablo chilaquiles were definitely made in hell, hahaha! Our favorite part was the side potatoes. The food tasted like breakfast made by grandma! The portions were huge; we only managed to finish half of it. And the coffee had that homemade taste. We’d go back for sure!

a year agoThis was, by far, one of my favorite stops while in Chicago. The place is super small, so the wait can be a little long, but it's absolutely worth it! I had no problem waiting for my chilaquiles! Humble place, humble people who really put a lot of love into their food. 😊 The café de olla is definitely a MUST! It felt like I was eating at abuelita's house.

a year agoAbsolutely delicious. Please don’t ever change the quality of your food and service!! It’s definitely a small restaurant, but keep in mind it’s family owned. It’ll be worth the wait. A hidden gem indeed!
